This is for your information. Maybe this want happen to you.
I was riding with an old High School friend the other day. He was on a GW 1500. We were on some twisties and he took a curve a little too fast and lost it. The pavement dropped off about 2 in. and he dropped off the edge. I was behind him and saw the whole thing.
As he dropped off he went down so fast(in the blink of an eye).
The bike didn't flip and just slid along. However he flipped over and over. He was not hurt and neither was his Wing. Just mud on the bike and a small amount of road rash on his shoulder.
We measured the slid distance and it worked out to be 45 Ft. It was in grass and so it wasn't too bad.
If he had went off the road about 150 Yards earlier he would have dropped out about 8 ft into a creek with large rocks. Not Good.
This turned out OK however, we all, from time to time, go into curves a little fast. Don't !!!

| I'm glad everyone and everything is ok. edit; Nobody likes to fall off the street bike. And nobody likes the repercussions be they small. Errors occur. It's not like it's a sin. Watching a budd fall off is just as bad as falling off yourself, often worse. It just registers in a different way. Some day, I will look back at most of this and laugh. (Ever notice that previous election years are particularly devoid of laughs?)
nobody rides half as well as they know how.

Good to hear he's ok. Amazing after all that sliding and him rolling the bike and he is ok. Guess just shows those Wings and us old geezers are tough. I still like to lean but I'm very careful and I bet he has new-found respect for the lean.

Yea OWG, the Wing and us old dudes can handle it. I hope!!!!
I waited till now to respond to this because I wanted to watch him ride for a while.
Note: Us old dudes do learn. He has slowed down a lot and we still get there.
Keep em turning.
