Hi Barney, Don't know what kind of room you have in the Velorex trunk but in our EML we have a 5 gal marine cell installed with a Holley regulator and pump. Did look at the tour tank the others directed you to. Looks good. BTW, Barnes is my maiden name. Nice to know there are other Barnes' out there with sidecars.

Hi Feather,

Haven't checked this forum in a while. I have looked at the other ideas posted on this forum, but I've wound up just carrying some spare gas in a red plastic can. Works okay, and cheap too. I really don't want to give up the lockable trunk space in the sidecar, so I think I'll stick with the red plastic for now. The real solution is a larger gas tank on the bike. How ridiculous is a 2.25 gallon peanut tank anyway? It is like they didn't expect anyone to ride for more than an hour or two.

My Barnes family roots are from the Baltimore area, where it is a very common last name.

Ride Safe!

There is a website for a bolt-on aux fuel tank, www.tourtank.com

they have different sizes of tank, from 1gal to 7gal, and are constructed for installation on a motorcycle- I'd imagine you could figure out a way to work that into your sidecar.

Good Luck!
