Anyone with experience riding a Tow-Pac trike conversion kit?
They offer what seems to be an economical way to get into a trike -- by adding two extra wheels and a sub frame to your existing bike for around $3K.
I'm ready for a trike but the cost is impossible for me with the cheapest new ones around $22K.

The Tout-Pac trike kits are also callec Insta-Trike.
I don't remember the web site but I found by searching for Tow-Pac.
I did see on a couple of days ago on a Gold Wing going the other direction and I couldn't turn around to try to catch up -- I was on a divided road.
The idea intrigues me as being simple and cost effective, but I realize it's not a real trike. Still, any opinions are appreciated.

The Voyager is $1300 more expensive than the Insta-Trike and the bike can lean up to 6 degrees, a feature I think would be detrimental -- what if you need to sharpen up your turn?

| Hi I'm new. Do not know much about the tow-pac but, I bought a tow-pac off a 1975 1000 and was told it would fit a 1200 and then someone told me it will not, does any one really know? I was also told that the one that i have will fit everything but the 1200. It will fit the 1500 and 1800 Gold wings. And other then the brackets are not the receivers the same? The wheels are all adjustable as far as height goes. Confused
ride safe

| The 1500 and 1800 Goldwing have different brackets. The 1800 Goldwing also uses a different hitch.

| The Tow-pac Instatrike is a great kit. They are really engineered well and built tough, and unlike other kits they have independebt wheel suspension and fiberglass fenders at no additional cost.
