In reading some of the topics has brought to mind something that I would like to see. That is a general collection point for maintenance and repair data on different models/makes of motorcycles. With the means available now it would seem that something of this nature could be done. An online form could be made available that an owner could fill out: Year/Make/Model miles type of repair type of rider (be honest) and so forth.
If there is such a place I apologize for my ignorance. I have my two main rides: an '85 CB650SC and an '03 ZRX1200R. They are both great bikes but if they have an Achilles heel or a failure that I haven't seen I would like to know what to look for.

There are owners groups for many motorcycles that cover the models pretty well. It would be hard to assimilate all that data to one web site. I bet you could do something in a Wikipedia type format where users can make changes to the pages. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
By the way in a recent study they found Wikipedia had less mistakes than the Encyclopedia Britannica. That idea might work can you write the software?

Ok I just checked motopedia.com and motopedia.org are taken so someone else may have thought of this. motopedia.net is available.
