To the moderator:

Please refer to "Fred Rau in Rider" thread. Poster "SRG" made a vulgar and totally unprevoked comment when he invited me to embed my head in the founder's tushie, of all things. As Fred Rau was instrumental in building this magazine, I am highly offended and believe that this comment far exceeds the limits of good taste. Will action be taken regarding this matter?

I am also highly offended by SRG remarks, it was so uncalled for. Fred has done nothing to him, and I see no reason why SRG should make such comments.

Of course Mongo never stepped over the line.

Cherrie, people with loud pipes have small packages? That was a called for comment on your behalf?

If you want to take action, then go ahead and take action. However, you must take action against everybody that has stepped over the line with me. That is only fair.

By the way, the comment was directed at Mongo not Fred.

I'd like to point out to you that the likelihood of one moderator reading all the posts and evaluating them on this forum is slim to none. If you feel you've been slighted by an inappropriate post(s) it's up to you to report the offending post(s) as Mongo has done here.

Many individuals among this forum need to take a good, hard, honest look at what they post and the intent and potential preception of that post.

I happened across this link below while cruising the 'net one day. I realized that I was guilty of at least one of the behaviors and have tried to adjust accordingly. When you read this, do an internal assessment and see if you are guilty also.

If so, fix it... please!

I would suggest that this be a forum guideline to determine if action should be taken. Of course, I don't mean replace the existing rules, but consider this a supplement.

For the record, Jerseyjim's thoughts are clouded as the only time he was offended by my comments was when I dared to voice my opinion on Harley Davidson motorcycles. Can you imagine? Turning on someone because they don't pray to the same inanimate object that you do?

But, yes, this seems to be the nature of Jerseyjim.

By the way, Jim, thanks for standing up for Fred & Cherrie. You know SRG is dead-to-rights wrong here, but of course you can't take another loud-piped-Bro to task for his vile actions, can you?

Sad

Mongo

PS If you don't condone what SRG said (as you say) be a man and lodge a formal complaint. It seems you had no problem doing that with me. Why not SRG, Jim? Have you suddenly, mysteriously lost your taste for forum conflict? Or does the badge on the bike outweigh all the rest? The "bros" on this site, and the thinking members as well, might just like this answered.

Slick way to try to create sides, mongo, but I don't think it'll work, it's far too late to change your colors.
1. I find it "interesting" that after some of your behavior, you find it acceptable to run to the mod to defend a slight against you OR someone else.
2. I am, and you should be, perfectly secure knowing that Cherrie and Fred, should they decide to, are absolutely capable of lodging their own complaint without your assistance.
3. I've read the post you've complained about, and while it's certainly not tactful, pleasant, or appropriate, it's also not something I perceive as a slight against anyone but you.
4. Jim, I absolutely agree with your post, it was dead-on.

Proud to be a "Bro". Whatever it is, as long as mongo doesn't like it, it suits me fine.
