Mongo, in all fairness you are making this sound as if you only bashed HD once or twice. I'd say that many (most or all) of your posts often include a barb at HD AND HD owners. SRG's post standing alone doesn't insult Fred, but, he's made several snipes at Fred and Cherrie in the past. That sheds a little different light on it regardless of who you (SRG) claim your intended target to be.
TBH Mongo and SRG, both of you guys come off as quite abrasive, often to great excess. Either one of you will draw heavy fire as you spend a great deal of time throwing insults around and to complain about any return fire is rather amusing.

I understand completely where you are coming from. Isn't it funny though how different people can see the exact same situation ( in this case, written posts ) and draw different conclusions.
I STILL think Mongo is harmless and funny if not hysterical at times. Does he overdue it ?? Maybe. Depends on your POV. I swear, I never tire of his posts.
Just goes to show you..........different strokes for different folks.

I know what you mean. Mongo has a style that almost never fails to get a laugh from me. He got a little over the top there for a bit and then went quiet. He's also pointed out some of his own flaws, ridiculed himself openly, and is willing to point a finger at himself quite often.

I understand that Mongo is currently on assignment and staying in room 314 at the Holiday Inn, Cleveland. I just thought that you might like to rendezvous with him. Anyway, after a starlit evening of sinfully depraved debauchery and discussions of favorite oils for uses inorganic AND organic, perhaps you two can motor out to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame to complete the assignment? Sounds like a nice plan, no? ;)

That's not entirely accurate. I never sniped at Fred. I made snipes at Cherrie using Fred. The same way I made a snipe at Mongo using Fred. Also, Cherrie made a comment toward me first. All I did was modify it to include Fred, which was payback for hers. In both those cases (Mongo and Cherrie) they made snipes at me first (be it at that time or previously). I was just paying them back.
Torqueman, I will be expecting you to remove all the other posts which were personal attacks. It's only fair. Unless you somehow see people who have loud pipes have small packages as truth. If you do, then I'll be glad to show you it's false.

Um, SRG,
Perhaps you should take notice of things a bit more closely. It seems that the moderator HAS removed some past postings of Mongo's and a few others. Well, that or maybe they just ran out of room?
But, regardless, you are acting rather thin-skinned here and people will undoubtedly laugh at you if you continue along these lines. (Well, they'll laugh harder at you than they usually do anyway)
And of course these chuckles will arrive not in the same wink, wink, let's-laugh-together fun way that they do when supreme witticisms are uttered by Mongo, myself, or the rapier-witted Dragonmaster, but rather the way that people laugh at a bumbling fool that for some godforsaken reason gets it in his addled mind that he has something of significance to say.
Maybe it's time to cool it, huh junior? REMEMBER: People are watching. And laughing.
