Am I the only one that seems to be annoyed with things since the forum was upgraded and appears to have just imported more nuisances?

The forum seems slower to me.

The default text size is a bit small.

E-mailing someone via the e-mail button gives you a return to sender notice in due time.

Clicking on a user name to view their profile just makes their avatar disappear and seems to slow the rate of progress even more.

Using the quote function for a post just seems to produce an odd looking post where the quoted post isn't actually boxed in to indicate where it ends and mine begins.

I have noticed that I've made an unconscious choice to come in here less and less frequently. Sad because I think there are some really good contributors on this forum and in spite of my tendency to post drivel think that I too am a valuable contributor.

I must admit I too have noticed some speed issues.  OTOH I have not had the complete timeout failures we were seeing before.

I will try to figure out the font size thing again.   It has not been straight forward like one would think with this software.  Though many things are much easer.

I will check the email thing.

The other issues I am not experiencing.  What browser are you using?  I have found it does not work well with Firefox and had to switch to IE for this forum.  I have asked the developers to look into this.

Please stick around and I will do my best to get some of this  cleared up.

I think I solved the font size thing.  Hit reload at the top if it still looks small.

When you click on someones name you should get a dropdown menu.  It works fine on IE and works under firefox but just goes to the page and does not do the drop down.  I think your browser might be the issue.  I know you are a Mac guy (was that you on TV next to the PC?) anyway try the latest Firefox for Mac.  You still wont get all the features you have with IE but it should work.

Now lets hope I didn't screw anything up in the process of all this.

I already explained all these problems; "Asp.net". I know that it may not seem like an anwer that does justice to the problems, but it's all that you need.

Nope, still doesn't work.

I'm use earthlink - internet exploder.

That guy doesn't look anywhere near seedy enough to be me. Think Willie Nelson X Chuck Norris X Christ

anyway try the latest Firefox for Mac. You still wont get all the features you have with IE but it should work.

I think it may be my operating system. It uses roman numerals instead of binary and has abacus 1.0 for calculations. I will upgrade to a real computer once wireless is available and with good signal in my area. Can't seem to justify the expense while I'm on die-Lup.

Now lets hope I didn't screw anything up in the process of all this.

Speaking of screw ups, did you get those photos I sent ya in my numerous replies to your e-mail?
