| I find the Wiley X has two issues, 1) the side frame around the eye is very thick and cuts down your peripheral vision, 2) I can't seem to find replacement lenses after I scratched one of them.

reitsmjo (11/21/2007) I find the Wiley X has two issues, 1) the side frame around the eye is very thick and cuts down your peripheral vision, 2) I can't seem to find replacement lenses after I scratched one of them.
welcome to the forum, reitsmjo. those of us who wear helmets, can use any cheap sunglasses behind the visor as long as they are comfortable. i like to use a non-polarized "driving" lens because it has less weird rainbow effect with the visor.
nobody rides half as well as they know how.

True Fran we can wear any cheap sunglasses with the lid on, but a lot of sunglasses hurt my ear after only a short time. My fav helmet anymore is the modular. I put a smoke shield on it but its too dark if I'm gonna be out after sunset which is very early this time of year. I'm wondering if they make a little sun visor adaptable to my helmet I can pull down like the Nolan. Guess I'll have to make another trip to da cycle place. But then any excuse is a good one.

| OHG, a few years (I think three) back in the December issue of MCN where they list different Christmas gift ideas. One idea was a narrow tinted strip that clings to the out side of the visor by static electricity. It acts like a sun visor on your helmet. I bought one, and it has been on my helmet ever since. When I've gotten a new visor I just peel it off and then re-sticks to the new visor. I actually like it enough that I ordered five more to give away to riding buddies. If you want the address, I'm sure I could find it.

"It" being the mailing address of where they are sold. It's some guy down in Florida selling them out of his house. Nice guy he sent them to me and just put an invoice in the envelope and asked me to send him the check after I had gotten them. Very trusting, he probaly gets burned once in a while.

Just wondering if anyone here has tried the photosensitive glasses/lenses? I see that the BikerGlasses site also offers these @ around $25.
I've always thought this would be a really good idea, say something like the Light Changing - Medium to Dark Lens, this way you don't need to keep changing lenses/glasses and less to worry about if going through a tunnel or something.

| I would be really interested in the address for this magnetic "sunglass" visor. If you can find it that would be great! Thanks
