Ibafran - mounted a bicycle bell on my handlebars today and drove around using it.
Three guys on Harleys followed me home and beat the crap out of me.
Now, let me get this right - is it one down, four up?

| Nomad 17: Years ago, I installed FIAMM electric horns on my bike. Loud as a car..and sounded like one too. This still was not enough. So, being a firm believer in "if some is good, more is better, and too much is not enough", I installed a set of airhorns from a semi-truck on my bike. Painted them satin black and tucked them in under the left rear turn signal.(quite inconspicuous) DAMN LOUD! And they work! I run 'em on propane.

| trauscher1,Loud as in breaking glass loud. Or loud as hurting ears. Propane shoot now where to install George Forman Grill. Hey you know you can run a line from the propane tank to the tips of exhaust and have a switch for on/off and have flames for night time fun. I think I am going to install an air horn. Shoot I should of bought the one i saw at the bike show last weekend. I could of saved 50 Bucks oh well. All probally add it on to my bike this spring. Nomad17

Propane? - Flames ? Nomad17 - I think you're on to something.
I'd uninstall my Priority Plus stoplight flasher if I could get about a 15 - 20 foot flame out the exhaust on demand. About a 2 second burst should be an attention getter.
Now THAT has potential to stop New Jersey tailgaters.
Just thinking... aiming them forward should address the slow walking pedestrian issue too.

Naw, ST, you don't know much about people in New Jersey. After living next to all the toxic waste dumps all these years a little fire ain't gonna bother us much. A rocket launcher maybe. Nothing stops a tailgater in his tracks like stopping a tailgater in his tracks!
I'm more interested in the George Foreman grill idea. You can probably rig it so any extra grease drips on the chain, thereby eliminating a tedious maintenance chore.
Now, let me get this right - is it one down, four up?
