Should I or shouldn't I post a blurb about an upcoming charity ride that I am helping to organize?

It is a little unusual and we think it would appeal to the members here.

I might suggest that if you have a question about something or posting something you should e.mail torqueman he is the moderator of this forum and he will let you know if he thinks it's appropriate or not.  Click on his name it should take you to how to e.mail him or PM him.

Thanks Cherrie.  (I need to get a smiley that looks like it is blowing a kiss)

I am going to post the reply here because others may be intrested.  I have no problem with posting charity rides and charity events.  I do request that if you are the orginizer you be upfront about that like you were.  I also request that you only post it in one area.  I think the general area would be the best one.

I see though you don't post much you have been here several times.  I won't beat anyone up for a drive by posting of a charity event but I perfer they spend some time to get to know us like you did.
