I have enrolled in the "ride Like Pro" school in Greensboro NC. on the 28th of this month.
Has anyone taken this " RLAP" class and if so, what do you think.

CaseySanta -
Who's offering this course or is it simply through the group, "RLAP?" (I visited their web site)
Is it associated with a dealer and if so, which one?

No Drummer, this school doesn't seem to be associated with any dealership.
It is conducted by the same man, Jerry "Motorman" Palladino that is on the "Ride Like A Pro IV" DVD.
I'm not sure which web site you looked at but try:
motorman@ridelikeapro.com
I'll pass on any info I get from them.

I am envious; I would love to be able to take the course from the “Motorman”. Wrong coast. Have never seen him in person, but I have his DVD and think it is very well done. Just from his demeanor on the DVD, I would think that if there is an item you are struggling with, he will be able to explain it so that you will understand. My one concern is pushing myself and dropping my bike and putting an ouch on it. Will you be using your bike or does the class supply one? Please let us know how it goes.

I wasn't sure if RLAP was being sponsored by a local bike dealer or if they had a division in Greensboro. Anyway you slice it, it seems pretty cool, I might be able to attend. Thanks for the info.

Gfurol, You use your own bike. They said that you could drop it from time to time. They said you should put some "heater hose" on your crash bars to prevent damage. That tells me you are going quite slow if you do go down.
Go to: motorman@ridelikeapro.com
All is explained there.
Again, I'll let everyone know what I think when I'm through.

Casey, I am envious. Jerry is a good guy and I have a couple of his videos. The mantra is typical of these type of courses "head and eyes" and "friction zone."
What is funny is he has the same humor as every cop I have ever known. The kind of dumb jokes that make you groan.
Be sure to give us a review.
I have really wanted to do the Keith Code school.
