Sorry to hear that Casey. On the bright side you didn't break anything. Heal fast. Will they refund your money or reschedule you for another date?

| CaseySanta, Sorry to hear about that, but you actually may have proved a point. Aren't ladder falls and tub slips ranked higher in personal injury occurances than riding a motorcycle? Rest up and get well.

Casey, sounds like you are not gonna make it to the Harley state rally in nearby Fort Smith, Arkansas. I was looking forward to meeting you. I had already lined up some bar fights for us to show some of those posers what GoldWing riders could do. You have my number and email. If you come this way at any time let me know and we will meet. In the meantime being on a ladder sounds like work and us old Wing riders don't need to be climbing ladders but rather ripping thru the mountains on da Wing.

Its not the ladder. Its the gutter. Never clean your gutters. Use the ladder for what it was designed to do... access high bedroom windows. And, yes, I have carried an extention ladder on my bike. Just once. And it was worth the trouble.
nobody rides half as well as they know how.

First off let me thank everyone for your concern about my stupid ankle.
I will receive my deposit back from RLAP, I'm not sure how long it would take to get over this so I'll just start over when ready.
Yes ScooterGal, I went to the Dr. and nothing is broken or cracked. Good news. Just a sprain. The swelling is going down some as we speak.
Damn OHG, I will miss the bar fights. It's been a while but after 22 years in the Navy I can say, "I've been there and done that". (However. No tee-shirt)
I'm still going to visit your part of the country ASAP. Looking forward to it.
It's a beautiful day and hear I sit in the house with clean Gutters.
I guess this will give me time to finish "Proficient Motorcycling". That ought to keep me out of trouble.

| NJScooterGal, thanks for the welcome. SantaCasey, you took that whole MSF "Ladder of Risk" thing a little too literally. Next time hire someone to do that nasty job. Does MCN review courses like the Ride Like A Pro? I've been searching and surfing the site for reviews of other courses like Street Masters and such to see if they are worth taking. How does that MSF ERC compare to Ride Like A Pro? You never can learn or practice enough.
