I have the chance to get a tiger at a very resonable price, But I am wondering how close it is to what I have. My current daily driver is a 2002 Suzuki Bandit 1200 s. I have bar risers, braided lines Holeshot stage 2, 5 deg advancer and exhaust, hyabusa shock and progressive springs with gold valves in the forks. This set up works very well for me at 6' and 235 lb. My only issues are that the position hurts the back a little, 2 up is a little close, and ethanol gas has been really messing with the carbs.
My main riding is at a quick pace and love corners. I ride on all roads, and now that the suspension is set on the Bandit, smooth roads are great, but some rougher roads are punishing. A main concern I have with the triumph is the suspension. I really don't want to loose any of the power I've gotten used to, so will the Tiger be atleast as powerfull? I know I can answer some of these questions by a test ride, But the bike is 3 hrs away, so I'd love some input from others. Thanks for the input, and feel free to ad your input on another bike that I should be loking at.
