Suzuki Katana, B.O.S.S., SV 650X

THE KATANA HAS been proudly rolled out. A redux of the original 1982 Suzuki Katana, which created a sensation in the motorcycling world when it debuted. The new Katana is built upon the long-stroke GSX-R1000 engine and the GSX-S1000 chassis, including a twin-spar, aluminum alloy frame, and Superbike-type braced swingarm. The Katana is priced at $13,499 in silver or black. The GSX-S750Z features a new large-capacity airbox for higher engine output and a new headlight nacelle to go with red and white body work accenting blacked-out engine, suspension, exhaust, seat and most other parts. MSRP: $8,899

There are two new, two-tone paint schemes on the 2020 Boulevard M109R B.O.S.S. – Pearl Glacier White/ Glass Sparkle Black or the Metallic Oort Gray/Glass Sparkle Black treatment with contrasting graphics. The 109 cubic inch (1,783cc), 54-degree, V-twin engine rumbles through a pair of large-diameter mufflers as it puts power through the shaft drive and into a 240mm wide rear tire.

The SV 650X is a cafe racer version of the company’s popular SV650 platform, complete with low-slung clip-on bars and a brown faux leather seat, with tuck-and-roll-type stitching. Side panels below the fuel tank evoke a half fairing look and the sculpted bullet-type mini-screen adds to the aerodynamic stance. The liquid-cooled, 645cc L-twin engine is designed for strong, smooth power and a balanced feel. MSRP: $8,399

The 2020 V-Strom 650XT Adventure features tubeless-spoke wheels, plus a set of Suzuki’s aluminum panniers and a rugged accessory bar. A handlebar cross-brace, mirror extensions and a centerstand round out the touring package. MSRP: $10,399
